Disney Dose
My analysis on the ups and downs of Disney's advertising and social media presence.

Walt Disney is one of the most widely broadcasted and known companies worldwide. So much so there are a multitude of Walt Disney World park locations created based on the company all over the world including two in America. Not only is Disney the 'most magical' amusement park on Earth it is also the home to numerous movies, shows, characters, and streaming services etc. the company has created over the years. Due to being so widely popular it is obvious that their advertising has been at the top of its game for quite a while, especially now since even more social media apps have grown popularity. Specifically, the social media app, TikTok has definitely grown and advertised Disney's brand and has made it possible to reach an even broader audience. Furthermore, Disney has grown its brand by buying and owning even more. Like that of the Marvel franchise, Star Wars franchise, Pixar, and creating their own streaming service called Disney Plus. Disney Plus was specifically made to stream all Disney brand movies and all other franchises they own. However, on the downside of this, after COVID-19 going to see movies in theaters became a much more difficult task. With that being said Disney movies started to premiere specifically on their streaming service rather than in theaters. Which made it more difficult to be available to all of the public, especially the ones who can't afford a monthly service. Whereas when it was premiered in theaters new Disney movies were advertised way more to the public. Thus leading to my only critique on their advertising is the lack of promotion of newer Disney movies. I feel that Disney should premiere the movies both in theaters and on their streaming service that way it is way more available to all of the public.
